The primary role of the Business Development Manager (BDM) is to prospect for new Gulf clients in Saudi Arabia (THOSE WHO NEED INDIAN MANPOWER) by networking, cold calling, or other means of generating interest from Gulf-Saudi potential clients/ companies. BDM must then plan persuasive approaches & pitches that will convince potential clients (Decisions Makers of Companies) to do INDIAN HUMAN RESOURCE HIRING/INDIAN MANPOWER RECRUITMENT business with us.
BDM must develop a rapport with NEW SAUDI CLIENTS / SAUDI COMPANIES (WHO NEED INDIAN WORKFORCE), & set targets for sales & provide support that will continually improve the relationship. BDM is also required to grow & retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions & services to GULF/SAUDI CLIENTS. Business Development Managers work with mid & senior level management, marketing, & technical staff.
BDM may manage the activities of others responsible for developing business for us (OF INDIAN MANPOWER RECRUITMENT, INDIAN TALENT ACQUISITION, HIRING INDIAN HUMAN RESOURCE) Strategic planning is a key part of this job description, since it is the business manager’s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new Recruitment business coming into the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, & of the company’s competitors.
Also the BDM has to keep a track of the new Saudi business contracts allotted to specific Saudi companies in specific areas regions of Saudi Arabia & give us the details of those Saudi companies. (i.e. Name of the Saudi Company, Name of Contact Person & Designation, his Mobile/Landline Numbers, Email ID etc.)
