Job Designation: Travel Consultant (Sales)

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 0-5 years

Expected date of joining: Immediate to 1 month

Key responsibilities

  • Help travellers book vacation homes and close deals over phone and email.
  • Drive booking and revenue numbers higher by creating innovative travel solutions that address client

needs

  • Handle escalations in a calm manner
  • Go the extra mile to meet or exceed sales targets and facilitate future sales
  • Answer questions about the service or the company
  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
  • Provide problem resolutions to customer queries over the phone, email, and chat platforms

Skills & qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Skills such as persuasion, escalation handling, solution providing, sales, writing, closing
  • Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
  • Motivation for sales, and identification of customer needs and challenges
  • A performance and solution-oriented approach
  • Bias for action, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence
