Job Description:

We are looking for "Business Development Manager", Bangalore.

Qualifications:

BE/BTECH in Mechanical Engineering.
Post Graduation in Business Management would be a distinct advantage

Experience:

12-15 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing roles in Engineering / Aerospace companies

Key Skills :

• Experience in Strategic / Business Planning / Business Development
• Researching markets and identifying business opportunities
• Strong analytical skills, ability to develop business models / plans
• Good commercial acumen and negotiations skills
• Demonstrated experience in closing large & long-term deals
• Excellent presentation and communication skills. Ability to handle top level management interactions in customer organisations
• Ability to work and in a start-up environment, initiative, drive & persistence to achieve results
• Understanding of the Aerospace market would be a big advantage
• Driving into new product segments in the Aerospace & Defense sector.
• Identifying product / service opportunities in the global aerospace market through detailed analysis of the market
• Selecting product lines through detailed analysis of the market and competitors offerings
• Identifying and screening potential partners, establishing contact and exploring business opportunities.
• Developing negotiation and pricing strategies by studying partners' needs and goals and examining risks and opportunities.
• Working closely with Finance, Legal & Technical teams to develop a strong business case and driving the alignment of various stakeholders to facilitate decision making.
• Detailing out the commercial and technical terms to sign off a long-term MOU / agreement with partner
• Program Management at project implementation stage to set up a new green-field venture
• Account Management and Customer Engagement throughout lifecycle of the engagement. Building and maintaining deep relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Intelligence gathering on customers, market, competitive landscape, industry and technology trends to contribute to business strategy.
